Occupation: Real estate developer. Chip Bowlby started college at 16 in Oklahoma in the early 1980s. He got into construction because his mother was in the industry. He was a “gopher” but later became a framer, electrician, brick layer and roofer at his mother’s properties.
Then he realized people working on the sales center were “better looking,” he joked, “so I got into the marketing side early.” He later got into the product design world in single- and multi-family real estate.
